We have been in a 21 day fast for the elections which ends Nov 4th. The Spirit of God has highlighted many things over the past days. One of those is how to release the Kingdom of God.
In 1 Kings 18 Elijah rebuilds of the altar of the Lord with 12 stones- one stone to represent each tribe. 12 is the number of government in scripture. God is calling for a rebuilding of the altars in our homes, our churches as well as in our country. The altar is where the holiness of God meets the sinfulness of man in sacrifice.
The people in the midst of a drought bring water at the word of Elijah. Their giving of that which was costly was a key to seeing the fire and the rain fall. What is the Lord calling you to give in this season? Your prayer and giving are key to seeing a release of the Kingdom of God, the fire, and the rain.
